We will not hold the physical Forecast2016 event June 28–29 in Seattle as previously announced. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause. Contact email@example.com for assistance with registration refunds or other logistics.
We at the Open Data Center Alliance (ODCA) have worked hard the past six months to organize a world-class conference in Seattle. Our content team, comprised of ODCA staff and key volunteers from ODCA member companies, put together what we believe is an impressive and strong agenda of speakers and topics.
As we’ve worked to pull Forecast2016 together we realized that the traditional Forecast conference was not the best model for connecting with ODCA members and the Enterprise IT industry more broadly. As a result, we are reshaping how the ODCA will deliver the great content assembled for the Forecast2016 conference.
In order to better accommodate our global membership, ODCA will deliver much of our most timely content – including that planned for Forecast – through online channels that members can access live or on-demand. The Forecast panels and workshops include the Cloud Maturity Model, Software Defined Networking, Network Function Virtualization, Hybrid Cloud Manageability, Software Defined Data Centers and more.
Authors of our accepted Member Submissions, will have the opportunity to deliver their presentations through an ODCA webinar via the BrightTalk platform. As with all ODCA webinars, these sessions will be available as part of our broadcast archive, as well.
ODCA is partnering with DatacenterDynamics (DCD) and The Open Group to deliver our content, such as the Cloud Maturity Model, through regional conferences in North America, Europe and Asia Pacific. We will provide more details, including dates, registration details and discount codes in the coming weeks, but we can confirm ODCA’s participation at DCD events in San Jose, London and Melbourne in the second half of 2016.
In our mission to ease the journey into the cloud for Enterprise IT organizations around the world, we know that these changes will improve our ability to connect with all of our members and spread the word about the value the ODCA is delivering to the industry.
