Forecast 2014 will be held at the historical Palace Hotel in downtown San Francisco, near the financial district.

We are excited to be holding our first Hackathon at this year’s Forecast. We will focus on the recently published Best Practice paper on Architecting Cloud-Aware Applications and participants will create a cloud-based app that provides volunteer matching services to non-profits. We have judges from both technology and non-profit areas to help determine the winner, including CloudNOW, CYCLE Kids, Boys and Girls Club of San Francisco, VolunteerMatch, Intel, and HP.
